Value of the works?
In the valuation of sculptures, many elements are taken into account: the artist's trajectory, the materials used, the art market, whether they are unique or multiple pieces, the dimensions of the work, the difficulty in the elaboration, the time invested by the artist, among others. In the case of my sculptures, I have elaborated pieces for sale in different formats, ranging from 40 cms on some sides, up to 3 meters. Currently the values of my pieces range from $ 280 and up, varying prices depending on the dimensions and shapes of each work.
Where can the works be viewed?
In the Art Galleries that represent me or exhibit my work and in my studio in the city of Caracas.
Can your works be outdoors?
Yes, in the production of the work, we apply background, paint and clear coatings from the automotive line for protection. The iron sheets used for outdoor works are 3 or 4 millimeters thick to give it more durability. Also, because of my expertise in the field of restoration, I instruct my collectors on how to conserve outdoor works.
What materials do you use in the production of your works?
The sculptures are made in iron and painted with colors of the automotive line of long durability.
How to care for and maintain the works?
Depending on whether the work is outdoors or indoors the work requires different care. If it is outdoors, you must wash the work at least once a month with water and neutral soap, you must dry it with a leather to dry the carcasses and wax it at least twice a year, all depending on the place where it is located and the weather conditions, for each particular case I indicate to the collector the maintenance instructions. For the works that are indoors and do not receive direct sunlight or water, the maintenance is reduced to remove dust and dirt with a microfiber cloth or if necessary wash it as well as the works exposed to the elements. In any case I always recommend the collector to contact me in case of any damage.
How many years have you been a sculptor?
I have more than 35 years working as a sculptor.
What is the durability of the works?
The sculptures are highly durable, I use a highly resistant material such as iron to produce them, and to protect it I apply anticorrosive and high quality paints.
What size site do you work with?
I produce works in small, medium and large format, including urban scale.
Are the works safe and stable?
Yes, the sculptures are stable and easy to install.
